Farmer Palmer's Wagon Ride

This month we are learning about farms.
We are learning about:
farm animals
farm jobs
how farms help us
where farms are
Later this month we will be visiting a real farm in Illinois and celebrating the end of Harvest with family and friends.
But for now, we are reading as many books as we can and also doing some fun projects!
Today we participated in stART by reading Farmer Palmer's Wagon Ride.

Then we decided to create Ebenezer ( a character from the story) from our footprints.

Our Ebenezer Puppets!

Adorable little puppets!

Will you get to go on a wagon ride during your farm visit? My kids love farms and farm animals. We recently went to the local fair and saw quite a few animals.

Great puppets. We definitely need to update our collection of craft stick puppets here. I hope you enjoy your farm study and a visit to a real farm. I have to look for that book.
